Working at the edges of markets, community, and ideas.

Four years in environmental commodities and energy finance, building pricing infrastructure, originating deals, and translating complex market dynamics into clear strategy. Most recently launched a North American trading desk for a global environmental markets firm, from scratch, as their only US hire.

Outside the day job, I co-founded the Central Texas Climate Philanthropy Collaborative and built a giving fund that has put $375,000+ to work across 25+ local nonprofits. Including designing a pooled giving model that puts smaller organizations on equal footing alongside larger ones.

Based in Austin. Always up for a conversation about climate, markets, early-stage companies, or anything genuinely interesting.

Philanthropy

Building climate capital in Central Texas.

I co-founded the Central Texas Climate Philanthropy Collaborative and launched the Central Texas Climate Action Fund, a field-of-interest fund housed at Austin Community Foundation that pools donor capital and distributes it equally across a curated portfolio of climate nonprofits.

The design is intentional. Equal distribution gives smaller organizations the same footing as larger ones and creates real incentives for cross-pollination across a group tackling climate from multiple angles. A formal application and expert review process selects each cohort. In 2026 that meant 47 distinct applicants, 22 recruited community expert reviewers, and 10 funded organizations.

Climate finance, markets, ideas.

On Substack when the thought is worth finishing. I'm interested in where climate capital actually goes, how environmental markets work and where they fail, and what it looks like to build philanthropic infrastructure in a city that doesn't have enough of it.

The non-spreadsheet half.

Dubstep and silence. Fast cars and long walks. Austin spirit and global taste. What I'm listening to, watching, and obsessing over outside of work.
